Our mission is to:

Engage the anointing through celebration in Worship,
Encounter the mission through Evangelism,
Enter into communion with each other in Fellowship,
Educate believers to bring about maturity through
Discipleship,
Embrace the love of God through Service.

““Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.”
(1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 NIV11-GK)

"Pray, give and go!"
Remember to pray and give towards Missions! In the Book of Acts Luke wrote: "During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, 'Come over to Macedonia and help us.'  After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them." (Acts 16:9-10)

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.””
(Matthew 28:18–20 NIV11-GK)

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."
(2 Timothy 4:7-8)

ow do we welcome and engage new people into our church community? This course will create an opportunity to consider how we better engage new people into Glory Chapel. Since Youth Challenge clients and their families/partners are a significant part of our church, this class will give a foundation of the Youth Challenge treatment philosophy, educate about the current addiction trends and mental health issues to help build that bridge into our community. It will also explore more general ways that we can welcome visitors, family members or other prospective church members into the church. the class will conclude with an in person working session where we brainstorm ideas to do this better.
